| Put a combine in a container? WOW! We can do it! |
| WHY? It is very expensive to ship fully assembled machinery via roll on roll off (ro-ro) vessel to many ports around the world. Also, to some ports the sailing frequency for ro-ro is very unreliable or does not exist at all. Containers have long been proven to be the most cost effective and most reliable means for shipping goods world wide. This is even after you factor in the costs associated with disassembly and reassembly of the items you put inside. Customers who have taken delivery of containerized equipment have enjoyed literally tens of thousands of dollars in savings! HOW DO WE DO THIS? Over the past many years we have developed specialized techniques for loading large machines that in the past were thought too large to containerize. Most new combines are manufactured in components so removal and re installation of a cab or engine for example is not a big deal anymore. Basically, we remove the cab, engine, hopper, return and clean grain elevators, wheels and final drives from the combine. The components are carefully packed and securely loaded into the container. In most cases, we can get one combine into one 40-foot high cube container, depending on how the combine is equipped. We can do this to almost any combine on the market. With our ability to carefully disassemble, mark, package, and load the machines, our customers have found that it is easy to reassemble. REASSEMBLY We do everything we can to make reassembly as easy as possible. Any good mechanic can reassemble these machines. All that is required is a lift large enough to lift the components and standard mechanics tools. Each piece is marked for easy identification. The customer also receives photos and video of the combine during disassembly and loading. We have developed a very good system for marking wires, hoses, and cables. If you need assistance most issues can be resolved over the phone or Internet. If needed we do have technicians available to travel to your site to help with reassembly. We can also containerize: Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Agricultural Tractors, Self Propelled Sprayers, Motor Graders, Dozers, trucks and much more |
