Our History
Our journey to loading containers began in Colorado when we were
asked to load containers of humanitarian aid going to former
Soviet Union countries.
Once we became involved in the shipping industry, it was a short
time before we were active in shipping agricultural and construction
machinery to these same countries. As demand for machinery
grew around the world, so did the need for our container loading
services.
We started out with an old F150 pickup and a small trailer, driving
from place to place, loading all types of machinery in all types of
weather.
In our first year, we loaded 15 containers. Today, MMS loads
several hundred containers per year and operates out of a 14,000
square foot shop and loading facility in Charleston, Illinois, which is
located in the heart of the US corn belt. From this facility, MMS
crews are able to service a diverse client base located throughout
the 48 Continental Unites States, who with our help, are shipping
their products to ports across the globe.
